This course is only recommended for participants currently working in the field and using their skills regularly. If you are not using your first aid skills frequently or working in the field we recommend taking the FULL 10 day Advanced First Aid course again.
You are required to read and review the manual prior to the course beginning.
Once you have registered for the course, you will receive a digital copy of the manual.
Certification: 3-year certification
Prerequisites:
– Must hold a current valid Advanced First Aid or OFA3 certificate
– Must have a current valid (taken within past 6 months) CPR-C or Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
(Note CPR-C or BLS will not be included in the Advanced First Aid recertification course).
Please send a copy of your current Advanced First Aid/OFA3 and CPR or BLS certificates for review via email to us with your booking
Certification requires full participation and course attendance. Participants must be present for the entire course, and receive 70% on both written & practical exam (which is done on a separate day) in order to pass.
Retesting for Advanced First Aid exam will be performed at a fee of $75.
PLEASE NOTE: BLS is NOT covered in this course. You will have to register for that separately
