Cancellation Policy

Cancellation with notice
Course cancellations that are provided by email at least five business days prior to the start of your course are eligible for a refund; however, an administrative fee of $30 will be charged. In these cases, credit for a course to be rescheduled will not be held for longer than 6 months.

A $75 administrative fee will be charged for any OFA Level 3 Courses that are cancelled with at least five business days’ notice.

Returning materials
Course materials must be unopened and in their original condition to be returned.

Refunds are only provided if cancellation is provided by email at least five business days prior to the start of the course.

Refunds are not provided for:

  • cancellations provided with fewer than five business days’ notice, or
  • student no-shows.

Rescheduling or Transferring to another course
In some cases, it may be possible to transfer a student’s enrollment to another class or course. This may be considered on a case-by-case basis, and an administrative fee of $30 will be applied.

No additional refunds or transfers will be provided after a change has been made.

Cancellation by Whistler First Aid
Whistler First Aid makes every effort to conduct courses as scheduled.

We reserve the right to cancel a course due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g. low student enrolment, instructor illness, etc.)

In the case of course cancellation by Whistler First Aid, students will receive a full refund or can have enrolment transferred to another course.
